First Colony Mall

Go shopping at First Colony Mall. Watch a movie at AMC Theatres before you enjoy a burrito at Bullritos, or get a pretzel at Auntie Anne’s before picking up some books at Barnes and Noble. It’s a great spot for the whole family or the occasional date night.

Constellation Field

Watch a Skeeter's Game at Constellation Field. Entertain all the baseball fans in the family by watching professional baseball without breaking the bank. To keep the kids entertained, there is an onsite playground, splash pad, and carousel. Don’t forget to bring along the bug spray and sunscreen. Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center

Bring your kids age 12 and younger to see exhibits and get excited to learn. Math games and interactive displays are just the tip of the iceberg. Tickets are $12 per person.

Oyster Creek Park

Bring the whole family out for a day in the sun at Oyster Creek Park! This park offers paved trails, sculptures, and a water feature complete with scenic rocks and a flowing waterfall. Take a bike ride in the park or bring a camera for a photography session.

Lost Creek Pump Track

Catch some air on the track! Take Oyster Creek Trail all the way to Lost Creek Park. Lost Creek Park features its own pump track for BMX enthusiasts to ride. Be sure to bring a helmet and safety guards. The park also includes a playground for the kids and indoor restrooms. 

Pawm Springs Dog Park

Grab your pooch and head on over! The park is divided into two sections: one for large dogs and one for small dogs. Both areas are enclosed with fences with multiple gates to keep any rogue dogs from running out when entering or exiting. The larger dog’s area is complete with a doggy pond and chairs for owners. There are benches located near trees in both areas for owners as well. Multiple bag stations are available to make cleaning up after your pooch a breeze. Doggy shower stalls are also on site to rinse your dog post-play.

Come out and celebrate diversity at this annual festival! Kites in an array of colors, shapes, and sizes representing different cultures take to the skies for a day of fun with the family. This one-day festival occurs in early spring at Brazos River Park.

This spooky Halloween-themed event is fun for any and everyone who loves to dress up and have a good time. Stick around for the costume contest featuring toddlers, children, and pets dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes. This event takes place annually around Halloween at Sugar Land’s Town Square.
